Guidelines for authors publications

musichildren’22, in partnership with the Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations – Universidad de Valencia and the Electronic Journal of Music in Education (LEEME) is orgazing two different publication opportunities for the proposals accepted to present during the conference.

You can apply for two different publications: 


1. An unpublished text as chapter in the book “Exploring creativities: creation as a strategy for learning music and the arts” (ARTSLAB Collection) ”(2023) editors: Adolf Murillo; Jesús Tejada; Mª Elena Riaño; Clarissa Foletto; Sara Carvalho and Lluís Solé; or


2. An article in a special issue of  Electronic Journal of Music in Education (LEEME)(indexed in Scopus, Q1 Music).

Deadline Extension

The deadline for the musichildren’22 call for proposals was extended to 12 June 2022. The main goal of the musichildren’22 conference is to explore aspects of music for children, and music that is created by children. It aims to stimulate discussion, develop ideas, and disseminate research in the fields of Music Composition, Performance and Music Education. In addition, musichildren’22, in partnership with the Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations – Universidad de Valencia and the Electronic Journal of Music in Education (LEEME) is orgazing two different publication opportunities for the proposals accepted to present during the conference.

Oportunidades de publicação

musichildren’22, em parceria com o Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations – Universidad de Valencia- e o Electronic Journal of Music in Education (LEEME) está a organizar duas oportunidades de publicação diferentes para as propostas aceites a apresentar durante a conferência. 
Após a submissão do artigo completo (15 de Dezembro de 2022), os autores dos melhores trabalhos serão convidados a publicar o seu texto inédito como capítulo do livro “Creativity in the Classroom: Now it’s time to create: Sound Creation in Music Classrooms” (Colecção ARTSLAB) “(2023) editores: Adolf Murillo; Jesús Tejada; Sara Carvalho; Clarissa Foletto; Mª Elena Riaño; Lluís Solé.
Além disso, uma selecção de artigos será revista por pares e publicada num número especial da Revista Electrónica de LEEME (indexada em Scopus, Q1 Music).
